The basement of our rental house has lots of storage space for tenants that isn't taken up. I'm renting out my space in the basement to anyone needing to store things over the summer. The door into the basement has locks and only residents and the landlord have keys. No air conditioning, but the basement stays cooler than the rest of the house. The price to store is negotiable and depends on how much space will be taken up.
